I&#8217;ve done dozens of them at Tegel (TXL) but Sch\u00f6nefeld, being kind of a regional airport, never attracted my attention. This is of course different now, BER being the only remaining international airport of our region. Unfortunately, the view on the day was quite marginal. We&#8217;ve had wonderful &#8220;summer&#8221; days in mid-winter (February) at the cost of immense amounts of Sahara dust in the air (my plane literally got sandblasted).
